So, anybody remember that Abe/Nuala AU series I was writing, um, 2 years ago?

. . . right, well, anyway, I finished it. (This is belatedly xposted from hellishness, so if you saw that fic . . this is the same fic.) Abe is . . important to the plot but doesn't get a lot of lines, in this? He's integral and yet peripheral to the story, so I'd feel weird posting it to the com, so here, have a link back to my journal. Warnings and stuff are there. I seem to have finally finished the huge project that's been eating my brain ever since seeing HBII: The Golden Army, so... I thought I would drop it at your feet and run away share. ;)

Hi guys,

I've been absent for a while--fortunately for mostly good things. I've started working on my PhD, which is an awesome thing, but it means LJ often gets neglected.

Anyway, i know it's not strictly Abe, but we're all Dougie fans, so i thought i'd post a link to a Pan's Labyrinth fan fic i've been kicking around in my head for a long time and finally got written as a way to procrastinate. First off, I just want to say 'thank you' to all of you in this community, both new and old. For the last 4-5 years, you've been wonderful people and I've really enjoyed your output in every realm of the FanSapien fandom.

Having said that, I'd like to announce that I have stepped down as maintainer of this community. It wasn't an easy decision, but I felt the time was right to do so.

Pairing: Jack/Abe
Summary: The BPRD wants some help from Torchwood, and Yvonne sends someone she wants to get rid of for a while. Jack decides he doesn't mind one bit.
Warnings: Again, it's Jack-fic. There is sex. It's consensual and not graphic, but if you're underage or that's not your thing, don't read it. Also, spoilers for Hellboy II.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters, and I don't mean to infringe.

I tried to fit to the pace of the music and I guess it kinda worked. There are spoilers for the comics, especially in Abe's, so be aware of that!
